Who knew she was a ROCKSTAR!

I can't believe that she is already 5!! My little girl is growing up and starts kindergarten this fall. Where has the time flown?!?! We (meaning Halle and Mom) decided that we would have a rockstar (Hannah Montana) party for her this year. This was her first real friends party. She had a hand in all the preparations including making invitations, decorating and what games would be played. I was informed on many occasions I was not doing things right thanks to my little helper, but it was an amazing party. The girls had a blast and Halle was spoiled rotten!

All dressed up and performing with a few friends. Who knew that Hannah Montana was so popular among 5 and 6 year old girls or that my daughter could do some shaking, grooving and moving! I think Grandma saw a different side of Halle and knew that her mother did not pass on that gene.
The rockstars!!
The girls making their microphones for their big concert! Then they went to the makeup chair to be made up with stage makeup.
Even the cake was rockstar related. This cake was in the works for weeks. Halle designed it on a piece of paper and made sure I kept it as a reference. Thank goodness for that because I am sure I would have made a mistake but thanks to Grandma's help with cool decorating tips and tools we made it !!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY HALLE!

Austin's First Singing Performance

Austin and Mallory (the other girl who was baptized in our ward) sang a song at their baptism. Grandpa recorded it for us but only got it half way through the song. You still get a glimpse of how cute they were.

Austin's Baptism Day

Austin was baptized today. The stake baptism happened to fall on his eighth birthday. He was so excited to have them both on the same day. The week before we would get the countdown every morning with the rock on sign to go with it. He was so excited. We are so proud of him and his decision to become an Official member of the church. He has a strong testimony of the gospel and loves to read his scriptures and learn more and more about the people in them. He is such a special boy with so much enthusiasm for life and learning. We love you, Austin. Lowell was so lucky to be able to perform this ordinance with Austin.
