Fall football

Austin played fall football this year and has loved it! They were the Chargers and went 3-3. They played hard and learned a lot this year. They are all ready to move onto tackle football next fall but I think they might be rethinking it once they get tackled. He played offensive end and defensive tackle most of the games. Here are a few pictures of his plays!

Sucking her thumb

Today at Austin's football game, Berkeley found her thumb and started sucking it. I have never had a baby who even found just their thumb. We have had finger suckers but not thumb suckers. I got her in the act and captured a picture. Isn't she a cute girl!

Trying to catch her asleep

So I was trying to catch Berkeley asleep but she woke up when the flash shined in her eyes. So now you have a half asleep picture of her. She was thinking I was a crazy mom!

She's growing up!

My little girl is growing up so fast. She has started to get a few rolls and her cheeks are starting to fill out. She still does not weigh very much but that is because she is SO tall. I get comments all the time on the fact that she has to be the tallest baby they have ever seen. She is long and lanky. She has started to blow raspberries and slobber like crazy. I guess it is time to get the bibs out. We are so glad she is here with our family. We feel complete!

See the length!
Spooky eyes with her smile. The flash has spooked her eyes.

First Day of School

Here are pictures of the kids first day of school. They were so excited to be back in school. They both decided that purple was going to be the color of choice.

Jett chilling with his brother and sister sad that he will not be able to play with them all day. So to make him feel happy we made cookies for the kids and met the kids as they walked home. I tried to make Grandma's recipe and they did not turn out so I hurried and cooked them all so I could hand them out to all the kids in the neighborhood. They didn't notice they didn't taste the same. Yes, I was trying to be the Martha of the neighborhood and I think I succeeded! (ha ha)

Major Slacker

So I haven't posted a new entry forever because life as I know it has been CRAZY! I think this is the new norm I am realizing it needs to slow down a little bit. So please be patient with me as I catch up our blog with a few events that have taken place since our last post.
